5. If you are prepared to accept the appointment on these conditions, you should take an early oppor tunity of presenting yourself to one of the Medical

You will be required to enter into an agreement to this effect with the Crown Agents for the Colonies and to find one surety for its due performance. In the alternative, if you prefer not to provide a surety, a deduction of 15% will be made from your salary for the first three years in consideration of the cost of your passa. The amount so deducted will be paid over to you on the satisfactory completion of three years' service. If you accept the appointment you should state which of these alternatives you would

prefer to accept.
